Swine flu
A friend was asked a great question this morning that concerned this issue. The question is, "Should I put away my community share bowl with trail mix in it due to this outbreak?" In bordering on the side of caution and weighing my answer against information related to me via the Centers for Disease Control (CDC) website, I think that putting away community foods is a good idea. Many people refuse to wash their hands or just use water. Be safe-not sorry!
This is the link for CDC "Swine Influenza" http://www.cdc.gov/swineflu/
Remember to wash your hands often, cough and sneeze into a tissue that gets immediately thrown in the trash, and if you are feeling like you have the flu STAY HOME...
Symptoms or emergency warning signs which need urgent medical attention are:
- Difficulty breathing or shortness of breath
- Pain or pressure in the chest or abdomen
- Sudden dizziness
- Confusion
- Severe or persistent vomiting

America, this place is messed up!
President Obama's biggest challenge, in my opinion, is when "Hope" is left to the imagination of the masses, each individual with their own personal agenda, each with their own definition of what success looks like. How does anyone deliver it all? They don't deliver it all, it is impossible.
Remember the quote: "You can fool some of the people all of the time, and all of the people some of the time, but you can not fool all of the people all of the time."
Abraham Lincoln, (attributed)
16th president of US (1809 - 1865)
I am sure Mr. Obama will make many changes for the better and also some which I am personally against (especially when I have to pay for it), but I am hopeful that when all is said and done, and the dust settles on his reign, we will all count it for good.
These are hard times, but America is still the land of opportunity!

Dirt speaks louder than a good resume and references -- many companies are digging deep on the web to find out who you really are!

Hiring great technical talent is a process of elimination. You must demonstrate that you are smart and doing things to survive!

Things we take for Granted
Drinking Coffee
I thoroughly enjoy getting up before the sun, grinding freshly, roasted coffee beans and preparing a hot pot of coffee. Oh, the wonderful smell of coffee, first thing in the morning! I then sit back quietly sipping hot coffee from my favorite mug as I watch the sun rise over the mountain and then I start my day.
